The Crew has prepared the FAQ for Honkai: Star Rail PlayStation®5 Technical Test (hereinafter referred to as the test), and we hope this can be helpful to you.
▌ About the Test Recruitment
Q: How do I sign up for the test?
A: Click the link below to enter the test sign-up page, fill in the pre-registration information, and successfully submit the recruitment survey. This will be considered as a successful sign-up, and you'll have a chance to gain access to the test.
※ If you only submit pre-registration information but fail to submit the recruitment survey successfully, it will be considered as an incomplete sign-up, and you won't be eligible for the subsequent test access selection.
Q: I haven't created a character on the Honkai: Star Rail live servers for my PC and mobile devices yet. Can I participate in this test?
A: Yes, you can.
Q: What is the deadline for the test recruitment?
A: The deadline for the test sign-up page is on 2023/8/28 at 10:00 (UTC+8).
Q. How do I know if I have successfully signed up?
A: After completing the sign-up process, go to the sign-up page to log in to your HoYoverse account and click the "Sign-Up" button. If your sign-up information is displayed, then your sign-up was successful.
Q: Is this test different from Project Astro-Warp?
A: They are two different tests and do not affect one another. Whether you are part of Project Astro-Warp or not, you can still sign up for this test.
Q: What should I do if I make a mistake in the pre-registration or survey information?
A: Once submitted, the information cannot be changed. Trailblazers are advised to fill in the information carefully.
Q: How are test participants selected?
A: The Crew will randomly select some Trailblazers to participate in this test based on the information provided in the recruitment survey, and will eventually send a test invitation to the successful Trailblazers via email.
※ Children who are protected under the relevant laws of personal information protection in their country or region must receive prior approval from their parent or guardian before participating in this test.
Q: When will successful Trailblazers be notified?
A: After the test recruitment closes, the Crew will notify the Trailblazers who have successfully obtained the test access via email as soon as possible. Please confirm that the email address you provided is correct.
※ Please check if the email was sent to your junk/spam folder. Such things have happened before.
Q. How can I check if I have obtained test access?
A: Trailblazers can go to the check access page and check your status by logging in with the HoYoverse account you used to sign up.
※ The email address shown in the access check page will be the email you provided when signing up for the test. This email will be used to send test instructions and other related information.
※ Please refer to the website for the time period when the access check feature is available on the test access check page.

▌ About the Test
Q: When does the test start?
A: The test will start at on 2023/9/4 at 10:00 (UTC+8).
Q; What is this test about?
A: The test will be done in a live server environment, so what content Trailblazers experience in the test will be the same as that in the official version.
Q: Will data be transferable between PS5™ and PC or mobile devices for this test?
A: Yes. During and after the test, if you log out on PS5™ after playing the game, you can log in with the same account using devices for other platforms and continue playing from where you previously logged out on PS5™.
Q: How much PS5™ storage space do I need to reserve for the test game download?
A: Approximately 30GB of storage space is required.
Q: Does the test require an internet connection?
A: Yes. In order to have a smoother gaming experience, please make sure your network connection is stable.
Q: Can I publish test content to social media platforms in the form of livestreams, screen recordings, screenshots, etc.? Can I livestream the game or post videos about it on my channel?
A: Yes. However, Trailblazers have to take note that all test content is still in development and does not represent the final quality of the game.
▌ About the Test Account
Q: What is the account used for this test?
A: Please log in with the HoYoverse account you used when signing up for the test.
Q: Is a PlayStation®Plus membership required for the test?
A: No, it's not required.
Q: My PlayStation™Network account (hereinafter referred to as PSN account) has been linked to my HoYoverse account. Can I still participate in the test?
A: Yes, you can.
Q: I've created a character on the live server of Honkai: Star Rail, but after logging in on PS5™, I found that the game progress is not synchronized. What should I do?
A: Scenario 1: Your PSN account has been linked to a HoYoverse account, but it's not the same one you used to play Honkai: Star Rail.
In this case, you can create a new PSN account that is not linked to a HoYoverse account, use the new PSN account to enter the game, and then follow the pop-up prompts to link the HoYoverse account you used to play Honkai: Star Rail.

Scenario 2: The live server where you created a character in Honkai: Star Rail is different from the server associated with your PSN account.
Since cross-server progress synchronization is currently not supported, it's recommended to ensure that the server where you created a character in Honkai: Star Rail matches the server associated with your PSN account before linking. To confirm the server associated with your PSN account, please refer to the form below or contact PlayStation support directly (https://support.playstation.com/):
cenario 3: The character you created on the live server of Honkai: Star Rail belongs to the TW, HK, and MO servers.
Currently, there are no corresponding servers for the TW, HK and MO servers on PlayStation. Therefore, progress synchronization is only supported between the America, Europe, and Asia servers in the game and the corresponding servers of PSN accounts.
Q: Can I share my account with a friend?
A: No. Sharing or selling your test account access is strictly prohibited. Access to the test will be revoked for accounts found of such violations. Trailblazers, please protect your personal information and abide by the rules of the test. Do not share or sell your test account.
▌ Payment Related Questions
Q: Can I make payments during this test? After the test concludes, can I still use unused paid items on other platforms?
A: Payments are allowed. The in-game purchases you make during this test, such as for Oneiric Shards, Nameless Glory, Nameless Medal, and Express Supply Pass, can be continued to be used on PC and mobile devices.
Q: I haven't created a character on the Honkai: Star Rail live servers for PC and mobile devices yet. If I created a character on PS5™, can I make top-ups for this character under the same HoYoverse Account on PC and mobile devices?
A: No, you can't. The HoYoverse account used to create characters on PlayStation can only be topped up on PlayStation or a web top-up platform.
